The University of Sydney Business School sought to deliver a new Executive Learning Content Delivery (ELCD) platform for its Sydney Executive Plus (SE+) initiative.
The platform needed to support a premium executive education experience while enabling scalable delivery to corporate clients and professional learners. Beyond content delivery, the system needed to function as a structured digital ecosystem — supporting cohort-based learning, client management and long-term platform evolution.

At the same time, the platform needed to reflect the expectations of a premium university offering — delivering a polished, reliable and high-performing digital experience.
The objective was not simply a rebuild, but the creation of a future-ready learning platform aligned to SE+’s long-term growth strategy.
We began with a detailed review of the existing platform, mapping functionality, user flows and integrations to ensure continuity while identifying opportunities for improvement. This established a clear blueprint for rebuilding the platform in Drupal while reducing risk and avoiding unnecessary complexity.
We delivered a flexible Drupal architecture designed to support growing user volumes, complex course structures and evolving functionality. Structured content models and modular components enable efficient content management and provide a foundation for ongoing enhancement.
The interface was refined to prioritise clarity, speed and ease of use. Navigation and content layouts were designed to reduce friction, allowing learners to quickly access courses, materials and schedules — aligning with the expectations of executive users.
We implemented features to support corporate clients and cohort-based learning, including multi-user account structures, role-based permissions, SSO integration (Okta), and bulk user and cohort management — enabling organisations to manage learners at scale while maintaining a seamless experience.
We developed tailored functionality including user progress tracking, one-time login links, flexible content structures and enhanced user profile management — creating a structured yet adaptable learning environment suited to executive education.
We integrated the platform with Microsoft Dataverse, Microsoft 365 and Qualtrics to support reporting and operational workflows, while embedding enterprise-grade security including multi-factor authentication and role-based access control.
