Mik
Mik turns complex digital problems into experiences that feel clear, intuitive and easy to use.
As Digital Garden’s Senior UX/UI Designer and Strategist, Mik has been an integral member of the team for seven years. His expertise spans user research and testing, information architecture, tree testing, prototyping, UX analysis and digital design systems.
Mik has led UX and design work for organisations including Inner West Council, Doctors Without Borders, Bradfield Development Authority, the National Library of Australia, Energy Consumers Australia, CHAIRS Global, and Sydney University.
Working across complex websites, platforms and digital services, Mik helps clients understand their users, clarify requirements and turn research findings into practical design decisions. He translates insights into information architectures, user journeys, wireframes and prototypes that can be tested and refined before development begins.
Mik also specialises in translating and extending established brands into cohesive digital design systems. He balances creativity with accessibility and usability, creating distinctive interfaces that remain intuitive, inclusive and practical to implement.
He is particularly interested in emerging digital technologies and how new tools can accelerate research, exploration and prototyping while keeping real user needs at the centre of the design process.
Mik holds a Bachelor of Design Computing from the University of Sydney.
