Supporting and evolving a major cultural institution’s digital platform

The challenge

MoAD required a trusted digital partner to support and evolve its website following a period of increased content production and platform growth. Alongside day-to-day support and maintenance, the organisation also needed to migrate and consolidate several legacy microsites into the primary Drupal platform.

Microsite consolidation

Digital Garden worked with MoAD to consolidate three standalone microsites into the primary platform:

Election Speeches

Historical election speech content was migrated into the broader Democracy section, including improved filtering, search functionality and enhanced data visualisation opportunities.

Oral Histories

The Oral Histories experience was restructured into the Collections section with simplified media playback, improved tagging and more intuitive navigation.

Getting it Together

Educational resources and learning materials were redesigned and integrated into the broader Learning Activities and Resources area, improving usability for teachers and students.
