The ANU Centre for Learning and Teaching is committed to providing resources, stories, and insights to the teaching community at the Australian National University.
ANU sought a digital agency to overhaul their website, aligning it with organisational goals and enhancing user experience. The project aimed to create a contemporary platform facilitating easy access to educational resources, showcasing ANU's teaching successes, and exploring pedagogical and technological advancements in education.
Leveraging extensive experience in the education sector, Digital Garden proposed a comprehensive approach to meet ANU's objectives.
The project followed a collaborative approach with ANU, ensuring alignment with their vision and incorporation of their feedback throughout the project lifecycle. Cloud-based tools like Jira and Google Workspace facilitated seamless communication and project management.
Digital Garden closely reviewed ANU's branding guidelines and existing materials before embarking on the design phase. A UI design system was developed, aligning with ANU's branding and utilising the GreenShift plugin blocks. Key page templates were designed - including the Homepage, Blog Listing and Resources pages. The focus was sharply on purposeful design and promoting accessibility.
The development phase saw collaboration between Digital Garden and ANU's WordPress team. Leveraging various plugins, including GreenShift Blocks. Digital Garden developed custom content blocks to enable desired functionality while adhering to ANU's branding guidelines.
The collaboration between ANU and Digital Garden resulted in the successful redesign and launch of the CLT website. The new platform not only meets ANU's organisational goals but also enhances user experience through intuitive design and accessibility features. With a modern interface and robust functionality, the revamped website serves as a valuable resource hub for ANU's teaching community.
UTS College engaged Digital Garden to reimagine the UX for its pathways provider. The result is an experience that caters to its global audience based on rigorous testing and validation.
