Legrand Australia collaborated with Digital Garden to create a customer portal for its Rethink Electrical brand.
Before the builder visits a client for their electrical selection meeting when building a new home, they share the portal details with the client, so the client has an opportunity to explore the full range and options of products that Legrand has to offer. The builder will then confirm their order on the portal with the client, during the onsite visit.
Rethink Electrical customer portal serves 3 key purposes:
- An education tool for customers to utilise and test solutions available
- Self-assessment for customers on what needs to be installed in their home
- As a communication tool with clients such as booking an appointment
Digital Garden did a series of workshops with the Legrand stakeholders, to map out the business requirements and user journeys for the portal. We went through an in-depth design phase, creating information architecture, interactive prototypes, and the UI components in Innovision. We tested the designs throughout the design process, with Legrand stakeholders and customers.
The portal was built on Drupal 8 and has been well received by the business.
