Serving one of Sydney’s most diverse communities, the website needed to make everyday tasks easier while providing a strong foundation for Council’s digital services.

We worked with Council from discovery and user experience design through to the full Drupal build. Research and testing helped reshape navigation around community needs, supported by a consistent, accessible design system.

Practical tools bring that approach to life. Residents can look up bin collection days and verge mowing schedules by address, while location-based event discovery helps people find activities nearby.

Behind the scenes, structured content and editorial workflows make publishing easier for Council’s teams, with a flexible platform ready to support future services and integrations.

It was a great collaboration with the Inner West Council team, particularly Michael Spikmans and Danny Li. Their insight and commitment helped keep community needs at the centre of the project.
