Web Development

System Integration

Whether dealing with Oracle, Alfresco, Sharepoint, Documentum, or any other popular platforms: it doesn’t matter. We have a deep understanding of many enterprise CMSs, legacy systems, database designs, programming languages and interface protocols.

We’ve partnered with implementation teams for clients on multiple projects and systems, such as BT, Qantas, Sydney Water, Leighton Contactors and Medibank, to name a few.

When collaborating with system integration partners, the imperative is to ensure our web designs and code transition to a finish product without creating any unnecessary difficulty.

To achieve this, we gather all technical requirements (file structure, mark-up style, naming conventions, implementation limitations) needed to inform the visual design or template mark-up before and during production.

Where interactive elements (JavaScript or Flash) may have data loading via AJAX or similar technologies that bridge front and back-end components, we’ll agree on a technical spec with the system integration team to ensure these more complicated features seamlessly ‘plug in’ to the data sources they’re designed for.

Work the way you want

By its nature, system integration is a highly collaborative exercise, both from a technical and personnel perspective.

  • Should you require assistance to integrate or ‘plumb in’ xhtml templates, for example, we can work in-house, along side your development team or remotely via phone, email or online screen sharing
  • Apart from the overall project management (PM) as outlined in any proposal, we have specialist PM tools to help with system integration
  • Our work is continually tested throughout development, with stringent QA processes in place for both design and build stages
  • All work is built for accessibility, ensuring compliance with W3C guidelines and best practices.
