Interface design
In web design, a truly elegant interface goes unnoticed. It doesn’t draw attention to itself because the user intuitively ‘gets’ it. But such seemingly simple elegance can often take strenuous effort to achieve.
To accomplish this, we employ exacting standards throughout the web design process; from user requirements gathering, prototyping and mockups, through to robust testing, analysis and retesting, until eventually the interface design and elegance intertwine.
User centred design
You may own and run your website, and pay for it’s upkeep, but it’s not really yours. Instead, by placing the user at the forefront of every stage of development – before and after launch – is to apply the cornerstone of user centred design. In practice, it focuses on the needs, wants and constraints of end users at each stage of the web design process.
Sometimes referred to as user experience design (UXD), it drives the layout, informs the customer journey, impacts the content’s tone and voice, and is crucial in delivering a compelling, satisfying end-user experience.
Intranets and portals
Intranet and portal design requires considerable collaborative effort because it often needs to integrate masses of disparate data drawn from diverse sources. We’ve designed and built impressive user interfaces (UI) for websites, intranets, portals, mobile and online applications belonging to some of Australia’s most recognised brands and government agencies.
