Our home-grown content management system (CMS), IVY is a great option for businesses who want to be able to maintain and update their new website.
Created in conjunction with our technology partner Green Wombat, from our offices in Sydney, IVY CMS brings a brilliant blend of great-looking design and robust application to your website.
You also benefit from a single point of contact who has both full knowledge of the design element of your new website and the technology it runs on.
IVY CMS can cater for the basic website where the owner simply wishes to edit text, change images and keep control of the site’s news section. It can also deliver a host of premium dynamic features that place your website well above the common garden: from online ordering to web forums.
We supply the design structure, style guide and supporting technology: you watch your website grow.
rich text editor -
Using formatting styles similar to a standard word processor, the rich text editor included in IVY features spell check.
website structure editor -
You can also view and change the sitemap for your website: add new pages, delete old ones and move existing pages between navigation tabs to keep your website fresh.
news section -
The news section of the website keep your audience abreast of your latest news without you having to wait about for your web designer: update the news section on your homepage in real time. News articles can automatically be exported to third party syndication applications using RSS feeds.

rights, privileges and access control -
Assign multiple user logins to IVY’s admin area with editable access privileges to each page on the website. This allows the website owner to give other people editing rights over a subset of pages without risk of breaking the overall structure of the site or changing key detail.

Know, don’t guess, the impact of your website. Integrate your site with Google Analytics for advanced statistics including hits, most popular pages, length of visits and effect of online advertising on your web traffic.

This optional add-on module to IVY CMS gives you the tools to turn your site into an online store including secure selection, ordering and payment sections via PayPal or any bespoke payment gateway. The system can monitor stock levels, sell-by dates and ticket sales. It also includes a helpdesk ticketing system to keep track of customer feedback.
forums -
Grow your own community by creating the space for website visitors to share information and swap tips. Forums also bring an extra dimension of customer service to your website by giving service users the independence to assist each other.

By hosting with Digital Garden, you have a single point of contact who has both full knowledge of the design element of your new website and the IVY CMS system it will run on. Cheaper hosting solutions are often on a shared server where other server users may run programs that slow it down or even require a restart. Digital Garden’s server will only be running our own IVY CMS software. A third party hosting company will support the operating system component that they provide, not the software that has been installed. They can provide backups and restores, but only on a system wide level rather than an application/CMS basis. |
Support includes upgrades to the latest version of IVY CMS including performance enhancements and new features as well as managed backups. We charge $50 per month + GST (paid quarterly) for the set-up, support and hosting of your website. This includes 20GB space and 20GB transfer. Digital Garden can set up our IVY CMS software on a third party server. We charge installation and support at our hourly rate. Rates vary depending on the server being used and its configuration. |
