A flexible multisite solution, rolled out for over 140 medical centres and dental practices around Australia.


Over 140 Medical Centres within the IPN network needed an independent web presence. Each centre has its own doctors, operating hours, services and contact information. The design would need to conform to the overall IPN brand while allowing flexibility in content to each medical centre. IPN Marketing would manage content for the majority of centres but some would need access to edit their own content. And as IPN expanded its network it needed to be easy to add medical centres as needed.

A new online appointment system with a web-app, iPhone app and Android app needed to feature on the site to lower administrative time spent managing appointments. The web-app needed integrating into the site with a prompt for downloading the native apps on each device.


Digital Garden designed and developed a flexible multi-site system that allowed instant creation of new medical centre websites. Each website can be managed simply by the IPN Marketing team or individuals from each medical centre can be given restricted access to their site. A mobile specific design was created that focused on the core tasks mobile users needed from a medical centre: book an appointment online, make a call, find the address or look up opening hours.


Each week hundreds of enquiries and appointments are booked at over 140 medical centres across Australia, with over 1000 GP profiles listed across all the sites. Each medical centre now ranks prominently in web searches with their own specific site resulting in growing web traffic and appointments.

The IPN medical centre websites have been intergrated with a custom built online booking feature, to make it easy for patients to be able to book appointments with their preferred doctor online.
