As part of this reinvention of the Agency, Harris Partners identified the need to upgrade its website presence to bring it in line with modern day user experiences, in particular the mobilisation of its website using Responsive Design. It clearly recognised that its clients and potential clients were increasingly using tablet and smartphone devices to access the internet and without a quality user experience their brand would be missing out on potential new business.
Digital Garden collaborated not only with the key management team at Harris Partners but also with the sales team members to design the optimal user experience for the new Harris Partners website. After all, the sales team are at the sharp end of the sales process and required the website to be a key sales tool in their approach to the market.
The website, unlike many others in the real estate market, provides quality content that is relevant to buyers and sellers in the property market and this has proved to be valuable in reassuring consumers of the credibility and professionalism of the team at Harris Partners.
Digital Garden’s team of UX, design and development experts brought together all of the requirements of the stakeholders into a solution that helps consumers navigate the content quickly and easily as well as make the creation of new content simple for the wider Harris Partners sales team. In addition, the business development effort had to be augmented with the design of email marketing templates for ongoing communications with their clients and prospects in order to generate additional leads.
The responsive website was launched on 3rd August 2015 on the Drupal CMS platform with a fresh, contemporary look and feel. Key content was clearly positioned front and centre on the website with properties being the heroes whether For Sale, Sold or recently Sold - an important section for potential clients considering selling their home and looking for a reputable, professional and successful real estate agency.
The new design is clearly positioning the Agency as a standout amongst its peers and provides much more content on the site that other agencies. Tips and tricks of buying and selling property, checklists for consumers to download and access to Peter O’Malley’s regular radio interviews and views on the property market in Australia.
The site also acts as an awareness and sales tool for Peter’s book, Real Estate Uncovered, adding to the brand’s authenticity, credibility, integrity and professionalism.
